Terms of Sale & Intellectual Property Licence

1. Intellectual property ownership

The AI Knowledge Signal Publication Framework — including its 6-phase methodology, all associated written materials (SKILL.md, HOW-TO-GUIDE.md, article.md, the framework PDF, and the quick-reference flyer), and the AI Knowledge Signal Chrome and Edge Extension — are the exclusive intellectual property of Digital Human Assistants, operated by Christopher Foster-McBride.

All rights — including copyright, database rights, and any applicable trade secret or know-how protections — are reserved. The methodology contained in this framework represents proprietary commercial know-how developed and authored by Christopher Foster-McBride.

2. Licence grant

We offer the framework on two purchase models. In both cases the licence is non-exclusive, non-transferable, and personal — granted to one organisation for your own internal publication purposes only, and not assignable.

Subscription (monthly or annual). Your active subscription grants a licence to use the AI Knowledge Signal Chrome and Edge Extension and the How-To Guide for the duration of your active subscription. The Annual plan additionally includes the Framework Essentials (an abridged 6-phase overview). The complete 6-phase methodology and SKILL.md are not included with a subscription — they form part of the one-time framework purchase below. This licence and the associated extension access remain in effect only while your subscription is active, and are revoked upon cancellation or non-renewal.

One-time framework purchase. A one-time purchase of the AI Knowledge Signal Publication Framework (the Complete 2026 Edition) grants a perpetual, lifetime licence to use the framework and its associated materials (the framework PDF, SKILL.md, the Video Gallery, and access to the founder masterclass) within your organisation. This licence does not lapse and does not require renewal — there is no recurring fee and nothing to cancel. The one-time framework is a standalone product: it includes a 30-day trial of the Chrome and Edge Extension but not an ongoing extension subscription. The restrictions in Section 3 and the confidentiality obligations in Section 5 continue to apply to the perpetual licence.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

• Reproduce, copy, or distribute any part of this framework to third parties, whether for payment or free of charge.
• Resell, sublicence, or include any part of this framework in a product, course, template, toolkit, or service offered to others.
• Publish the SKILL.md file publicly, share it in open repositories, or incorporate it into a publicly available AI tool or prompt library.
• Remove, alter, or obscure any authorship attribution or copyright notice from any material in the framework package.
• Train, fine-tune, or otherwise use this material to build an AI model, derivative methodology, or competing product.
• Adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the framework for distribution or commercial use by third parties.

4. Chrome and Edge extension

The AI Knowledge Signal Chrome and Edge Extension is included with a subscription only and is licensed for use by the subscribing account holder only. Your license key — issued at point of subscription — is personal and non-transferable. The extension may not be shared, distributed, decompiled, reverse-engineered, or used to build a competing product or service. Ongoing access via the extension is contingent on maintaining an active subscription; an ongoing subscription is not included with the one-time framework purchase, which instead includes a 30-day trial of the extension.

The extension is offered as a free download with a 30-day trial. During the trial, access is provided without charge and may be limited, rate-limited, suspended, or withdrawn at our discretion; continued access after the trial requires an active subscription. No licence to the framework materials is granted by the trial beyond use of the extension's scoring tools during the trial period.

5. Confidentiality

The methodology and proprietary know-how contained in this framework is confidential commercial information. You agree to treat it with reasonable confidentiality and not to disclose its substantive contents publicly in any manner that would substitute for purchase or undermine its commercial value.

6. Payment, billing, and cancellation

Payment is processed securely by Stripe. No physical goods are shipped.

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Upon successful payment you will receive an order confirmation by email containing your license key and Chrome and Edge extension install link. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time via your billing portal at aiknowledgesignal.io/billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; access continues until then. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods already charged.

The one-time framework purchase is a single, non-recurring payment. There is no subscription, no automatic renewal, and nothing to cancel. Upon successful payment you will receive an order confirmation by email with the framework materials, your Video Gallery access, and a link to book your founder masterclass. Because it grants immediate access to digital materials, the one-time framework purchase is generally non-refundable once the materials have been delivered, except where a refund is required under applicable consumer law.

7. No warranty

The AI Knowledge Signal Publication Framework is provided for informational and practical guidance purposes. Digital Human Assistants makes no representations or warranties regarding specific outcomes, search rankings, AI representation results, or business performance. The methodology represents best practice guidance based on current understanding of AI training pipelines and knowledge publication; the AI landscape changes rapidly and guidance may need to be updated over time.

Use of the methodology is at the user's discretion and risk. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Digital Human Assistants' total liability to you in connection with your purchase shall not exceed: for a subscription, the total subscription fees paid by you in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim; and for the one-time framework purchase, the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses arising from use of the framework or its materials.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Australia, Australia. Any disputes arising from your purchase or use of the framework shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms apply to subscriptions and one-time framework purchases made on or after the effective date shown above. We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the subscription after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. For subscriptions, the version in effect at the start of your current billing period governs your licence for that period. For the one-time framework purchase, the version in effect on your purchase date governs your perpetual licence, and later changes do not retroactively reduce the rights granted at purchase.
